We are a multi-generational congregation of people who desire to serve God joyfully in our lives as we share God’s love with our community and every person who comes through our doors! We have been blessed to worship and minister in this community for 180 years and we continue to grow and renew as our community around us grows and changes. We have a rich history of active mission giving, especially providing assistance to our local neighbors in need. Please take some time to browse through our website and you will find a variety of opportunities to grow in faith, to serve others, to worship, to fellowship, to laugh, to sing and play with joy, to plug in and get connected! We would love to have you come visit us and see what we are about! I am certain you will receive a warm welcome – come discover what Jesus meant when he said “I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly!” We have been blessed and we want to share that blessing with you!
May the peace and grace of God be with you!

Welcome Reverend Clint Cozier!
A glimpse of our new Transitional Minister
Our contract is final and we are preparing to welcome our transitional (interim) minister Reverend Clint Cozier on November 2nd, 2025. He is currently serving as the installed pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Kearney, NE, and will be starting with our church November 1st. Reverend Cozier (who prefers to be called Pastor Clint) and his wife, Cathy, will be renting a condo in Three Rivers in the same neighborhood as some of our members, right near Ethel Stears and Joan McClellan. The Cozier’s daughter, Emma, just accepted a position at a dental practice in East Grand Rapids and moved here with her husband, Josh. The Coziers also have a son, Brendon, who works for the Milwaukee Brewers and spends part of the year in Phoenix, AZ. Cathy’s mother, Evelyn Wheatcroft, will also be making the move with them, and will be residing at Lake House. They’re pleased to be so close to her as well.
Pastor Clint holds a PhD in Philosophy and Biblical Studies and has studied, and served, in a variety of places. He received his degrees from Trinity College of Jacksonville, Dallas Theological Seminary, and the University of Sheffield. He has been the pastor in multiple churches throughout Michigan and Oklahoma (where he was ordained) before moving to Nebraska. We’re happy to welcome him back to our wonderful state! He’s also excited to be back so close to Calvin College to utilize their resources. He has also served on the Presbyteries of Detroit, Lake Michigan, and Eastern Oklahoma. Pastor Clint brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. One of his formative experiences he discussed with us was from the Abbey of Gethsemani. In his work, he enjoys bringing out different ways of expressing faith.
Pastor Clint has also supported many non-profit organizations, including serving on the United Way Board. He has stated multiple times in multiple ways that he enjoys working with smaller organizations, and working to connect people and find ways to utilize resources for their benefit. He comes to us with many ideas for seeking our church’s true mission and ways that can work within our community. At his previous church there were many retired teachers, and he helped them utilize their skills to connect with the youth in their town after school. He also discussed a desire to meet with other local ministers and build connections across denominations in meaningful relationships. We’re looking forward to his ideas to help our church move forward through a mission study and our search for future leadership, while at the same time welcoming his gentle approach to pastoral care and being present in all the significant life events that occur daily within our church family.
Please join us for a welcome reception to meet and chat with the Coziers on Sunday, November 2nd after church in the Narthex.
